My settlement in Medina: the continuation of my journey after the Merkez Ibanah
Honestly, I didn’t know where I was going after Egypt. Early 2024, I finished the Merkez Ibanah… and then, a big void. I had learned Arabic, I had tasted this life of knowledge, but I didn’t know which direction to take.
We thought about Africa, other countries… but deep down, I felt that if I didn’t continue, it would be wasting what Allah had allowed me to begin. And naturally, when you think of knowledge, of baraka, of the sweetness of faith… you think of Medina.
The beginnings? Honestly, not easy. Here, rents are paid 6 months or a year in advance. No more tuk-tuks like in Cairo, everything is different. But Allah made it easy. And today, sitting with the scholars is no longer a dream, surrounding myself with advanced students… it’s indescribable.
Yes, life is more expensive than in Egypt, but the heart is lighter. We move forward, we take the means, and we leave the results to Allah.
And you, if you’re reading this, know that behind my brand, there is all this: this hijra, these efforts, this desire to live according to what we learn. It’s more than a project, it’s a living story.
